Suffering from a burnout in the autumn of 2015 I found it increasingly difficult to return to the arts. First, for almost 2 years, I stopped working altogether. In 2017 I tried to return to the art scene with a project Hobby Central, but was faced with the same non-sustainable working conditions that lead me to the burnout in the first place.

Towards a Sustainable Art Practice, a research project funded by the Amsterdam fund for the arts, is investigating possibilities to make art in a more sustainable way and devise various coaching strategies to assist in my return to the arts.
